I forgot to take my birth control two days in a row - I have my period?

I forgot to take Monday & Tuesdays pills, so I took them both on Wednesday. Now I've taken Wednesday & Thursdays today (Thur.) but now I've gotten my period TWO WEEKS early! Is that normal? Will it go away?
