How do I convince my parents to let me go to a technical high school?

I would like to go to a tehnical high school called Vinal Tech. There are 3 classes that I would want and the school picks one. Automotive technician, Automotive collision repair, or electrical. Half of the year though you do academics thought like math. My dada is strict and said there is no way in hell I would go. My mom doesn't really care but she wants me to go to college still and I am planning to still go. How do I convince them (my dad) to let me go??? P.S The application requires 1 parent signature (hehe) but isn't it my education?
