Why can't my 18 month old toddler talk?

Every child is different and some take their time with these milestones, like talking. Be patient and work with her. I'm sure here in the next couple months you'll see a huge improvement. Some little ones don't talk very clearly until after they are 2. If you are really worried talk to your pediatrician to get their opinion on when you would need to get a specialist's evaluation.
