How To Keep A Bonfire Going?

You have to build a good bed of coals..and then add a larger log right before it starts to go off..adjust the dampers so it doesnt burn up too quickly..also a metal grate in the bed of coals to keep the bigger log on and to allow a little air flow underneath the log..will keep it going..If you close the airflow off..Your success will not be too great..however..You need some airflow for it to slowly burn for a long time.
