Getting the swelling down!! HELP!?

I got my tongue pierced on Wednesday at about 6 and it didnt swell then i woke up this morning and its really swollen. double my normal size. ive ben sucking on ice and the swelling hasnt gone down. and it hurts. i cant talk or eat without wanting to cry! help me please! how soon can i take it out? i tried taking it out tonight cuz the pain was really bad but i couldnt get it out! what should i do?!?!
