Birth control pills, minor screw up, early period, when do I restart?

So I got kidney stones last week and was in the hospital for a good portion of the week due to pain, obstruction, and complications regarding that. Because of this, I was unable to take my birth control for 3 days. Didn't see it as a problem as I wasn't having sex anyway given the circumstances (DEFINITELY NOT IN THE MOOD!) I figured after my period I would just start a new pack and start over from there. But I got my period a whole week early, most likely caused by the missed pills? At first I thought it was a real period, my flow was very heavy the first day but the next day it was very light and today it's pretty much non-existant. My periods usually last a good 5 or 6 days. I was supposed to get my period next Wednesday, should I still start a new pack on Sunday or wait to see if I have a real period next week?
